Trivia[]
- As the Western Star 57X is a truck that in real life premiered in August 2022, as a part of promotion of the truck, both Saber Interactive and SCS Software gained exclusive rights to develop the truck as a DLC for SnowRunner and American Truck Simulator, respectively. Versions for both games had started being developed before the real life model was revealed to the world. Similarly as it happened for Western Star 49X.
- When the truck originally released in update 18.0, it was classified as Heavy truck, with Season 8 update it was reclassified as Highway class.
- Same was with Kenworth W990, which was classified as a Heavy truck in update 27.0, and with Season 12 update it was reclassified as Highway class.
- Although the 57X can equip AWD, equipping it does not add a front drive axle or transfer case to it in game.
- On the images of Western Star Wolf Pack media, Western Star 57X is seen with the 36-MH812 license plate. However, its in-game license plate reads as "PHOENIX".
