- A vehicle based on BAT-M was originally planned to appear in Spintires.
- The original prototype for tracked vehicles in Spintires was used as a basis for RoadCraft, with original BAT-M model used during prototype and testing stages, until it was replaced by a fictionalized Vostok ATM-53 Pioneer.
- Both ATM-53 Pioneer and TK-53 "Krot" vehicles share exactly the same chassis, cabin and interior. This is due to both vehicles being a modification to an AT-A tractor in real life.
- It is possible that the ATM designation stands for Artillery Tractor Modernized, derived from real-life designation of BAT-M bulldozer.
