Trailer Couplers are a attachable or a built-in add-ons used to connect various trailers to the vehicles. Hitches come preinstalled to vehicles, while saddles can be attached in a garage.

To attach a trailer, player has to position the vehicle with a correct coupler to the appropriate trailer and open FUNCTIONS menu to select ATTACH TRAILER. Alternatively player can visit a Trailer Store and buy a new trailer automatically attached to the truck if only truck has a compatible coupler, if the truck has an empty frame and player wishes to attach a semi-trailer, an appropriate saddle will be automatically attached when purchasing a semi-trailer.

Scout Hitch

Scout Hitch

A tow ball type of hitch available on most of the vehicles in Scout class, including the International Loadstar 1700 truck, it can attach Scout Trailers. Some add-ons may obstruct the ability to attach trailers on a certain vehicles. While having a visible hitch, KHAN 39 Marshall cannot attach trailers in any configuration.

Regular Hitch

A pintle hook type of hitch that comes in two visual variants and is available on most of the trucks, including the Ford F 750 from the Scout class, it can attach Regular Trailers. Some add-ons may obstruct the ability to attach trailers on a certain vehicles. While having a visible hitch, TUZ 420 "Tatarin", Western Star 6900 TwinSteer and Azov 43-191 "Sprinter" cannot attach trailers in any configuration.
Tractor Coupler

Tractor Coupler

Introduced in Grand Harvest expansion, a coupler available only to Kirovets K-7M and Kirovets K-700, it can attach both Farm Trailers and Regular Trailers. Attaching one of the specialized Kirovets add-ons will detach the Coupler, although some of those add-ons may provide a standard Regular Hitch instead.
Saddle Low

Saddle Low

A semi-trailer saddle available to most trucks, it can attach Semi-Trailers. While being equipped on Freightliner M916A1, it cannot attach Fuel carrier semi-trailer and Heavy Water Carrier Trailer.

Saddle High

A semi-trailer saddle available to most trucks, it can attach Heavy Semi-Trailers. A unique variant of this saddle is available to Pacific P16. Certain trucks are limited to having only a Saddle High and a Saddle Low is not an option to install.
Heavy Duty Saddle

Heavy Saddle

A semi-trailer saddle available only to Caterpillar 770G, it can attach Heavy Duty Semi-Trailers.

Saddle Low and Saddle High are based on JSK37UWR fifth wheel produced by JOST International.
