The Step 310E is a truck in SnowRunner.
A turbocharged engine provides the Step 310E semi-truck with unparalleled torque on most terrain. As a Soviet prototype that never went into full production however, it's staggering weight can make it sub-par on mud.
Unlocking[]
Step 310E is found on the Zimnegorsk map in Taymyr on the course of Truck Recovery task. The mission is available immediately after unlocking the Quarry and the Zimnegorsk via Geological Exploration and Looking Beyond The Horizon contracts, player has to repair and refuel the 310E to complete the task. Step 310E is granted to the player as a part of the reward and player is able to purchase more of this vehicle in the truck store afterwards.
Description[]
The Step 310E is based on the ZiL-E133Vyat, an offroad military truck built in the Soviet Union. The 310E has a larger grill and bumper when compared to the E133. The fenders of the 310E also seem much larger as they reach the bumper. The headlights are also completely redesigned as they are integrated into the fenders while the E133 headlights are mounted on the fenders themselves.
The 310E can best be summarized as the little brother to the Voron trucks in Snowrunner. It can perform the same tasks as them but it is much lighter and a bit smaller. It has one of the best power to weight ratios in its class at stock, with a rated S. It possesses the unique LAZ 6T173 "Voin" engine that has extremely good stats, including high fuel economy, above average durability, and a high torque engine that rivals upgraded engines like the Azov 16.1.
The Step 310E can struggle a bit a stock due to its somewhat low height and small tires but can be upgraded allowing it to tackle deep mud. In deep mud it is somewhat slow but maintains a steady pace. Due to the vehicles light weight it can struggle a bit unloaded however.
The Step 310E has one of the smallest fuel tanks out of any Russian off-road truck but also possess good fuel economy making it good for long range hauls without needing refuels.
Step 310E returns in Expeditions game along with its alternate variant from the Pioneer Pack DLC. It appears as a stuck truck as a part of the Heavy Shipping contract in Little Colorado region on Main Base map. Its appearence in this game is very different from its SnowRunner's appearance:
- It has the Azov AM-8 1080 engine by default instead its LAZ 6T173 "Voin" engine, which makes fuel consumption higher than in SnowRunner. Due to this, the power in Expeditions is less than power in SnowRunner (including Power to Weight).
- In Expeditions, he has an option to install the Seismic Vibrator Module, unlike in SnowRunner.
- In Expeditions, it has a 200L fuel tank instead 220L from SnowRunner, which is a 20L less than in SnowRunner.
Pros[]
- Light weight provides decent top speed and fuel economy without sacrificing performance when hauling loads.
- Stock engine is one of the most powerful engines in its class.
- Can fit various addons allowing it to perform numerous roles.
Cons[]
- Can struggle with heavy loads.
- Light weight can cause low traction when unloaded.
- Due to its light weight, the truck is quite easy to tip when carrying heavy add-ons or cargo
Upgrades[]
- Raised suspension - Zimnegorsk Taymyr, just north of the sawmill hidden in past the trees.
- LAZ 6 TA240 engine - Flooded Foothills, Yukon, just southeast of the railway station
