The PTS is downloadable feature of SnowRunner that is designed for the community as a way to test upcoming content to search for potential glitches and bugs before a full release for consoles. The PTS allows players to experience upcoming content prior to release as a way to give feedback to the developers.
The PTS functions essentially as a separate version of SnowRunner. Gameplay progress does not carry over from the base game to the PTS or vice versa. Updates are more frequent on the PTS with individual updates that are not seen in the full game available to console owners. Features in the PTS typically are also added slowly overtime.
