North Carolina, USA is a summer region based on real life North Carolina state in the USA, included in Public Energy expansion, it is the 15th region in SnowRunner. The region contains four interconnected maps: Pineline Bay, Reactive Zone, Flatland and Oviro Hills.
The region has 3 main objectives - Nuclear Power Plant built, Cooling Towers built, It's All Connected - and consists of 52 contracts, 49 tasks and 7 contests. Gameplay features missions such as Ferry, Logging, Crafting, Generator and Water Towers are returning.
Warm climate, rivers and lakes, green hills, lush forests and meadows. North Carolina's subtropical summers are famously mild and pleasant, which makes them a perfect season for construction. One of the oldest local provinces with its adjacent territories needs renovation. Almost all factories have stalled. People are leaving their homes are recolating to larger cities. The environmental situation leaves much to be desired. Yet the energy companies see great potential in these lands.

- DON 71 - at eastern coast of the Pineline Bay map, it is parked south of the service hub in pristine condition and fueled up. It is equipped with a Kr 120-AT engine, freeway gearbox, raised suspension, 28" AS II tires, flat cap snorkel and upgraded bumpers.
- FEMM 37-AT - in the Oviro Hills, given as a reward by completing the "Abandoned Giant" contract.
- MTB 8106 (Rock Grinder) - at the northern part of the Pineline Bay map, near the prototype exploration unit trailer. It is given as a reward by completing the "Vice-Like Grip" contract.
- Scout 800 - in the Flatland, given as a reward by completing the "Cliffhanger" task.

- SBR6-250-R1 - for FEMM 37-AT, it is located in the Reactive Zone in the hill northwest of the western watchtower.
- GForce-4V 11.0T - for MTB 8106 (Rock Grinder), it is located in the Flatland at the island situated at the river.
- SBR6-250-R2 - for FEMM 37-AT, it is the most powerful engine for the truck and the most powerful engine in the game with a 288k torque. It is located in the Oviro Hills near the brick framing.

- Crawler suspension - for MTB 8106 (Rock Grinder), it is located in the Pineline Bay at the beach which is north of the ferry.
- Raised suspension - for MTB 8106 (Rock Grinder), it is located in the Reactive Zone west of the service hub.
Diff. Lock
- Engageable diff. lock - for FEMM 37-AT, it is located in the swamp at the eastern path of the Flatland.
- Engageable diff. lock - for MTB 8106 (Rock Grinder), it is located in the Oviro Hills in the swamp.

- Western Star 49X was located in the Reactive Zone's Nuclear Power Plant since PTS 28.0, but has been removed in PTS 28.2.
