MudRunner and its DLCs include a plethora of vehicles that the player can use to, or help complete their objective of log delivery. The base game has 19 vehicles, 16 more vehicles from DLCs, and an additional 7 vehicles from certified mods.

Vehicle Classes[]

The Soviet vehicles are sorted into six classes, as denoted by their prefixed letter in their names. Each class of vehicles has their own different purposes to fulfill. The licensed American vehicles however are not specifically grouped into a class as they do not have a prefixed letter in their names.

A Class - These vehicles are small and most of them have the Diff Lock and All Wheels functions, their main purpose is for scouting and uncovering watchpoints. They can also be used as (minimal) support vehicles with their fuel and repair add ons. The American Ford F150, Chevrolet K5 Blazer, Chevrolet NAPCO 3100, and Hummer H1 can be considered as 'A Class'. A Class vehicles also have the (single-player only) 'Recall' function, which immediately warps the vehicle to the player's current location, at the cost of losing their repair and fuel addons.

B Class - These trucks are noticably bigger than A class, but they're smaller and also weaker than the C-class trucks. B Class trucks should mainly be used for utility and support purposes with the Fuel Cistern/Utility addons. They can also be used to transport garage parts to unlock garages, or even for scouting purposes (albeit only the B-6A can be recalled) Due to their lower power and smaller size it is not recommended to use them for log hauling though.

C Class - These trucks are bigger and stronger than B Class trucks, and should be used as a primary workhorse/log hauler. Also, Long Logs can also only be carried by C-65115, C-2XX, and American trucks. C Class can also be used as support vehicles as well with their larger addons. Many of them include a crane addon in some way. Their drivetrains can be 6x6 or 6x4. The American GMC DW950, Chevrolet Bison, Ford LTL9000, Freightliner FLD120, and Western Star 6900XD can be considered as 'C Class'.

D & E Class - These trucks are huge vehicles usually with 8x8. They are very strong and can easily travel on muddy, rocky, and flooded terrain, and also have high healthbars. However they use a ton of fuel (offset by big fuel tank), and are quite slow even on-road. Their addons are limited, but are big. D and E Class trucks are best used as rescue vehicles. The D Class trucks log carrying abilities are somewhat limited, but E class trucks can have a Medium Log Carriage and Medium Log Trailer, allowing them to carry a total of 8 load points at once.

K Class - These tractor vehicles are unique compared to other vehicles in the game, as all of them are articulated and steer by pivoting their body. They are mostly used to load logs from a kiosk/scavenge site to a truck that cannot load itself, and thus all of them have a crane/loader in some way. However, the K-8400 Skidder is unsuitable for logs loading because the loader does not go high or far.
