Log Cranes are truck attachments introduced to the base game of SnowRunner in Season 3 update. Log cranes are a type of standard Cranes used to move logs manually in and out of the Log Carriers.
The base game features one universal log crane for most of the vehicles, Haul & Hustle expansion features a unique one for the Aramatsu Forester and the Fix & Connect expansion features a variant of the standard log crane for the Kenworth 963. Various vehicles allow to have the log crane and a log carrier combination, making the log crane a useful addition for log hauling.
Usage
Like standard cranes, log crane can be operated only when the engine of the truck is running, to operate it, player has to open Functions menu and press a Crane mode button, player can also deploy anchors or reset position of the crane under Operate section of Functions menu with or without the engine running. Entering crane mode shows a legend of buttons to operate it (note that with Immersive Mode enabled, the Crane mode button nor the legend will be shown, however they will be still usable), unlike standard cranes, player has to physically grab the logs and close the claw to securely move the logs around and open it to drop the logs in desired place.

Trivia
- Originally the cabin of LP-4 Log-loader crane had non-transparent windows, it was changed in 25.0 update so the interior of the cabin is seen. However the glass texture is broken on a variant used on ZiKZ 605R and ZiKZ 612H, not rendering at all.
