The Kenworth 963 is a licensed truck introduced in the Fix & Connect DLC.
At early stages of production, it was very popular in the UAE and used mostly by oil producers in desert conditions. The truck can haul cargo with weight exceeding its own and does so easily across long distances. Even though this model is not too fast, with some skill, it will let you go to the most remote places.
Unlocking[]
Kenworth 963 is found on the Duncan Bay map in British Columbia on the course of Quid Pro Quo task. The mission is available immediately after visiting the Duncan Bay, player has to deliver a Scout Fuel Carrier to the House Yard and then repair and refuel the 963 to complete the task. Kenworth 963 is granted to the player as a part of the reward and player is able to purchase more of this vehicle in the truck store afterwards.

Built for hauling super heavy cargo in remote job sites across the world, the 963 is a goliath of a machine well suited for harsh terrain.
The 963 is a juggernaut of a truck. while not fast by any means, it does possess both the power and the necessary tires for hauling cargo through treacherous terrain. Thanks to its massive 71" tires or optional 69" mud tires, it can rip through most mud with some patience. Its stock tires are fairly mediocre in mud and asphalt, but its aftermarket mud tires provide superb traction in mud. Due to the vehicles relatively low speed, the mud tires poor traction on asphalt rarely causes wheel spin. The 963 has access to a unique engine, the H6 15L Wanderer provides an astounding 265k power rating surpassing even the strongest KZGT engines. This allows the 963 to easily haul super heavy cargo with little effort. The 963 is equipped with switchable AWD and an always on differential lock. The Always on differential lock does allow it to move through rough terrain relatively fast but its reliance on AWD in some terrain will lead to excessive fuel consumption if its unique heavy highrange gearbox is used.
The 963 is not without flaws however. Its large size can cause obvious problems, namely taking turns as the vehicle requires a large amount of space for its massive turning radius. Its wide width and tall height can also cause issues on narrow roads and makes most shortcuts implausible. Furthermore, the vehicles massive weight that surpasses any other truck can cause the truck to feel sluggish when climbing hills. The vehicles gear ratios seem to be to high causing the truck to struggle on hills, making it rely on its low gears.
Kenworth 963 supports a generous amount of add-ons, including the LP-4 Log-loader crane, Flatbed, Long Flatbed, Large Maintenance Frame Addon, Sideboard Bed, Long Sideboard Bed, Fuel Tank, Expanded Fuel Tank, Ramped Towing Platform, Fire Tank, LC 3.8 loading Crane and high saddle. The 963 can also haul all 3 variants of logs. It also has access to the new LK-2NY heavy crane.
Season 11 update[]
With the Season 11 update, the Kenworth 963 can install the oil field flatbed that can carry 3 cargo slots and oil field flatbed (consumables) that can carry 2 cargo slots, 150 repair points, 2 spare wheels and 60L of fuel. Both of them can be applied the current color of the truck.

- High fuel consumption with the unique heavy highrange gearbox. Increases fuel consumption 33% and an AWD on penalty of 40%. Heavy truck gearboxes do not normally have an AWD onpenalty
- Still slow with the highrange gearbox - its max speed is a 40 km/h.

Trivia[]
- Originally before the release, Kenworth 963 was one of the few trucks to have a front wheel drive setup when AWD is disengaged, sharing this trait with Caterpillar 745C and Chevrolet Apache. This setup was changed to be rear wheel drive by default.
