The KOLOB 74760 is an 8x8 tractor unit in SnowRunner.

The KOLOB 74760 is an all-around super-heavy tractor produced for the Russian market. It's a straightforward yet reliable way to deliver any cargo across complex or challenging terrain. With an uncomplicated design, it was not devised with a specific role or environment in mind; instead it offers good performance in a variety of applications.

KOLOB 74760 is unlocked upon reaching the rank 22 allowing player to purchase it from the truck store for 137200 currency.

Description

The KOLOB 74760 is based on the MZKT 741351, a Belarusian heavy duty truck designed for hauling extremely heavy cargo. The 74760 bumper is far larger and taller while the headlights are relocated to the upper corners of the bumper. The grill design also features a notable redesign with vertical inlets as opposed to the MZKT's horizontal inlets. The roof lights on the 74760 are increased in numbers and appear to be LED lights. The vent located next to the rear passenger door is far larger on the 74760 while the rear of the cab appears to completely flat.

The 74760 is fairly similar to the KOLOB 74941 but is larger in size overall and its Differential lock and AWD are always on. While somewhat slow initially when first accelerating it is capable of surprising speed in mud once it gains momentum. Though its low hanging skid plate initially used to seem to drag in mud slowing the vehicle down it seems to have been modified much like the Azov 73210's infamous low hanging bumper improving its performance in mud and allowing it to compete with its brother the KOLOB 74941. The 74760 is able to be equipped with active suspension in Explore & Expand further improving its ability offroad and practically negating any issues with its skid plate catching on mud. The 74760 and the 74941 also can be equipped with a new gearbox released in phase 2. The Multi-purpose gearbox gives both KOLOBs a great increase in acceleration and top speed at the cost of only having 1 low gear and no high gear. This makes the 74760 far more useful for heavy hauling at a moderate rate of speed but it can cause its performance to suffer in very deep mud which somewhat limits the gearboxes overall effectiveness. It's also known to be one of the most stable trucks, if not the most stable as it's impossible to flip even if the player tries.

Due to its massive size and large engine the 74760 consumes a massive amount of fuel. Its always on AWD worsens this as it negates the option to improve its fuel economy when AWD is not needed. However its large fuel tanks do somewhat balance this but routes should still be carefully planned to ensure the 74760 can ensure its thirsty engine has a steady supply of fuel.

Explore & Expand

With Explore & Expand expansion installed, KOLOB 74760 got its active suspension and the multipurpose gearbox, which is also available for KOLOB 74941, heavy Tatra trucks and by default installed on Mack Defense M917. The multipurpose gearbox is located north of the "Sunk Giant" task in Big Salmon Peak, and active suspension is located northeast of the rolled steel factory.

• The 74760 is the heaviest vehicle in the game with a mass at nearly 29,000 kilograms or 63,000 pounds.
• The 74760 along with its brother the KOLOB 74941 both feature independent suspension on all of their axles. They share this trait with the DAN 96320 and the TUZ 420 "Tatarin".
• Though the 74760's description states it was created for the Russian market, its real world inspiration is primarily used by the United Arab Emirates.
• The KOLOB 74760 was ranked as the 2nd best truck in the game by the community.
• The interior of KOLOB 74760 is actually based on real Mack Defense M917A3's interior instead of real MZKT-741351's the 74760 is based on. Coincidentally, the actual Mack Defense M917 was added to the game over 3 years later.
