Island Lake is the third map in Michigan and the third map in the game overall.
Overview[]
Island Lake is a brutal map for beginners that will put their skill and determination to the test. It has no paved roads, no garage, and no fuel stations making it a hostile environment for ill-equipped players.
Island Lake is a mix of swamp like marsh with some mountains on the south. Most of the terrain is composed of mud and some segments of dirt making highway tires a terrible pick. All-terrains or mud tires if available are a must to handle the unforgiving roads and ensure a successful trek.
The primary focus of Island Lake is repairing damaged infrastructure and activating the inoperative saw mill. The oil drills that once provided oil to the region must be scavenged for the drilling equipment for the regions other oil drills being built.
The main road in this map is relatively easy to drive through though some minor obstacles may be encountered. This path connects Smithville Dam to Drummond Island.
Island lake has only one vehicle that can be retrieved by the player, the colossal Western Star 6900 TwinSteer. It must be repaired and refueled but serves as a extremely useful vehicle for new players.

Tips[]
- Numerous fuel trailers can be found across the map for refuels but they can be difficult to locate if watchtowers have not been found.
- The trailer store can be used a makeshift service station provided the player has a suitable truck. By buying a service trailer the player can refuel and repair any vehicles in need. Then the player can sell the trailer for its full price.
