Description[]
The International HX 520 is a versatile heavy duty truck which performs like a mix of a highway and offroad truck. It performs similarly to the Caterpillar CT681 and the Caterpillar CT680 without the lift axle of the former. The truck features a good power to weight rating of S+ giving it decent speed. However just like the previously mentioned trucks the HX 520 doesn't have a suspension lift kit which limits it's offroad capabilities a bit and can cause it to struggle in deep mud. The HX 520 is also quite a bit longer than other trucks in its class which can hinder its mobility but the longer frame does allow it to support a variety of frame add ons.
The HX 520 has an above average fuel tank of 280 Liters which makes it a good choice for long range hauls without the need to stop for fuel but fuel consumption should still be carefully observed as its consumption is quite high compared to other trucks.
Overall the International HX 520 is a decent heavy duty truck that is capable to perform most tasks with ease, but it can struggle a bit in more extreme terrain.

- In Czech language version of the game, the truck is named Mezinárodní HX 520. It is the only language to have the name different from others, and the only International truck to have its name translated in Czech.
