Gateway

The Gateway is a means of transport between 2 maps. The first instance of the usage of the gateway is used on the very first map, Black River connecting to Smithville Dam. The Gateway has been featured in every map since except Season 7: Compete & Conquer (Tennessee) DLC. The gateway "trend" is still being continued onto every map since.

Unlocking and usage Most gateways are free to use right as you approach them. Some gateways may be locked tasks/contracts that have to be completed in order to use the gateway. These gateways can be unlocked: Gateway to North Port in White Valley, Alaska can be unlocked by completing the Blocked Tunnel task. Three gateways to Quarry in Drowned Lands, Taymyr can be uncloked by completing Geological Exploration and Looking Beyond The Horizon contracts. Northwestern gateway to Flooded Foothills in Big Salmon Peak, Yukon can be unlocked by completing Rockfall in the Ravine task. Gateway to Cosmodrome in Urska River, Amur can be unlocked by completing A Heap of Work contract. Southwestern gateway to The Lowland in Yellowrock National Forest, Maine can be unlocked by completing Sound-Bound Road contract. Northeastern gateway to The Lowland in Yellowrock National Forest, Maine can be unlocked by completing Access to Civilization contract. Gateways to The Institute and Heartlands in Crossroads, Belozersk Glades can be unlocked by completing The Beast Rising and Sample Field contracts. Northwestern gateway to Burned Forest in The Albany River, Ontario can be unlocked by completing Exploring the Burned-out Infrastructure contract. Southern gateway to The Albany River in Burned Forest, Ontario can be unlocked by completing Exploring the Burned-out Infrastructure and Let There be Road contracts. Gateway to North Peak National Park in Duncan Bay, British Columbia can be unlocked by completing The Unfinished Business At The Plant and Paralyzed Transportation contracts.
