Flooded Foothills is a map in the Yukon region introduced in the Explore & Expand DLC in the game SnowRunner.
Overview[]
Flooded Foothills is the first map in the Yukon region and 15th map overall. It also serves the purpose to introduce players to the new cargo crafting system while also introducing a resource management system that will challenge even veteran players to the series.
Players will begin in the garage in the map, located in the northern center portion of the map. The map is primarily composed of portions of dirt roads with a fair amount of paved roads mixed in as well. The primary obstacle blocking players from freely exploring the map are unfinished bridges but once built the map becomes fairly simple to traverse. Deep river crossings may occasionally be needed making trucks with high water clearance desirable on this map.
The major focus of this map and the region as a whole, is getting a gold mine restarted along with other buildings to reinvigorate the regions economy. All these tasks require jaw dropping amounts of cargo that require multiple runs even when the largest trailers are utilized.
Unlike other relatively straight forward map designs, Flooded Foothills lacks any sort of easily traversible main route making navigation somewhat difficult.
