The White Western Star 4964 is a licensed truck in SnowRunner.
A trucking classic, the White Western Star has everything you could ever want in an old school rig. It's big, it's bulky and it comes from a simpler time when pushing out a factory's worth of carbon dioxide was no problem at all. Despite its age, this truck can still hold its own when compared to more off-road-oriented counterparts.
Description[]
The White-Western Star 4964 can best be described as the "big brother" to the FleetStar F-2070A. It is slightly bigger, slightly heavier, with slightly larger fuel tank, wheels and turn radius. Just like the FleetStar it has a large upgrade potential which can eventually turn it almost into a full-blown off-road truck (without mud tires).
When first found in Smithville Dam the 4964 is rather lacking, its only notable feature being a custom stock snorkel(but despite what the description says, it does work) The important upgrades (AWD, differential lock, raised suspension) can be acquired in Smithville Dam and Island Lake, quickly catching up to the FleetStar. Like its "little brother" it can also install the semi-unique Westline V6 2350T engine and actually has fuel capacity to afford it. Also, because of longer wheelbase and heavier weight the raised suspension does not affect it as much.
If 4964 has a downside, it's that despite being longer than the FleetStar the useful car frame is actually slightly shorter. If equipped with the LC 3.8 loading crane and a flatbed, the rear hook becomes too obstructed and it becomes impossible to attach trailers.
Pros[]

- Basically a slightly better FleetStar.
- Good off road capabilities once upgraded.
- Semi-unique engine even more powerful than the Si-6V/2100T.
- Noticeably larger turn radius than the FleetStar.
- Large tank.
Cons[]
- Requires a lot of work to obtain - you have to winch it quite the long way from difficult terrain.
- Can't attach trailers when crane addon fitted.
- As it's heavier than the FleetStar, it really wants the engine upgrade which is found in another region (though you can also simply use to the Si-6V/2100T)
- Sits low even heightened suspension. Combine this with long wheelbase and you can easily get stuck on uneven ground.

- Engageable AWD - Smithville Dam Michigan, north of the quarry on a beach next to the dam.
- Raised suspension - Smithville Dam Michigan, located at the end of a dirt road that begins next to the Drummond Island gateway.
- Engageable differential lock - Island Lake Michigan, west of the lumber mill in the mountains.
Besides that, the truck supports upgrades which available for other trucks:
- Si-6V/2100T - Black River Michigan, situated at the island north of the wooden bridge.
- Offroad gearbox - Drummond Island Michigan, west of the watchtower near the gateway to the Island Lake.
- Highrange gearbox - Mountain River Alaska, situated at the river near the pipeline.
- Westline V6 2350T - Mountain River Alaska, located in the building with the "Environmental Issue" task.
- Fine-tune gearbox - Black Badger Lake Wisconsin, in the swamp northeast of the log station.
