The DAN 96320 is a truck in SnowRunner.
Envisioned as a multi-purpose artillery tractor, the DAN 96320 is as close to owning a ballistic missile complex as a logistics company can get. Featuring an agile lightweight frame, this truck has little in terms of obvious downsides and is easily capable of scaling harsh terrain or pulling heavy loads when the need arises. Protip: To avoid a potential international incident, don't paint it military green before sending a shipment of pipes to a neighboring country.
Unlocking[]
DAN 96320 is found on the Quarry map in Taymyr on the course of Lost In The Woods task. The mission is available after completing the Geological Exploration, Looking Beyond The Horizon and Georesearch - Starting Point contracts, player has to repair and refuel the 96320 to complete the task. DAN 96320 is granted to the player as a part of the reward and player is able to purchase more of this vehicle in the truck store afterwards.
Description[]
The DAN 96320 primarily appears to be based on a BAZ 69092, this is evident by its driveshaft design that uses a sharp downward angle towards the transfer case. Its use of independent suspension on all axles is also shared with the 69092. Overall the design of both trucks are remarkably similar with few changes. The most prominent change are the headlight and turn signal designs, the 96320 headlight and turn signals are far larger while the turn signals are also repositioned above the headlights. The 96320 windshield is smaller overall with a more rounded design, the driver and passenger side windows also are larger with a 2 windows on each side as opposed to the 69092's flat 1 piece design. The 96320 roof is completely flat and features factory roof mounted lights.
The 96320 is a nearly unstoppable force of nature off-road. Possessing decent speed, large fuel tank, and high torque, the 96320 is capable of tackling nearly any terrain. However, it can only be equipped with very limited amount of frame add-ons allowing it to perform only a very limited number of roles.
Players however should avoid deep water when driving the 96320 due to its low height and lack of snorkel modification making it susceptible to taking damage. Its low ride height can also cause some issues when attempting to cross trenches. Furthermore its skid plate can at times drag in mud slowing the vehicle down.
The 96320 has an average fuel tank size of 350L. Its fuel economy is average for a vehicle of its size making it a good choice for long hauls where fuel may be scarce.
Pros[]
- Relatively low weight and extremely powerful engines give the truck a high power to weight ratio.
- It is well suited as a heavy crane truck, and can travel much faster than the Azov 73210.
- Is one of the very best trucks to traverse deep mud.
Cons[]
- Low ride height
and no suspension upgradescan cause the skid plate to drag in mud, however, the Haul & Hustle expansion added the active suspension to the truck. - With its long wheelbase, the vehicle's frame can easily get stuck on large rocks.
- No snorkel options can limit this vehicles potential in water.
- Pitifully small amount of frame add-ons to choose from.
There isn't even a crane add-on available.

Trivia[]
- Originally before release the DAN 96320 was named a BAZON.
- A battery box on the right frame rail is incorrectly displayed as a fuel tank in game. This may have been done last minute as a way to balance the vehicle in game by adding a potential hazard when driving.
- The DAN 96320s description mentions to avoid painting it military green and transporting pipes across borders to avoid international incidents, likely as a nod to the BAZ 69092's role as a missile truck.
- The license plate on the 96320 reads свч which strangely translates to "microwave". However this may also be an abbreviation of "special military unit" which may reference the 69092's role as a truck specifically intended for use as an artillery truck.
- The 96320 is one of only 4 vehicles in game to feature independent suspension on all of its axles. It shares this unique trait with both KOLOB trucks and the TUZ 420 "Tatarin".
- The 96320 is the only vehicle in game to use the old service body design. Unlike other vehicles its service body still uses the olive drab paint and pre-season 2 design. This is due to the 96320 using a unique van body mounted on a raised platform to fit on the frame and clear the driveshaft.
