The Caterpillar CT680 is a modern take on the decades-old heavy duty truck concept. Outfitted with all-wheel drive, a fuel-efficient engine, a leather-bound steering wheel and an assortment of pretty lights and switches, the CT680 is a reliable, stylish, and powerful way to deliver goods on well-maintained roads and mud trails alike.

The CT680 is a versatile truck that can be equipped to perform a wide number of roles depending on what the driver desires.
The CT680 can best be described as a hybrid of an off-road truck and highway truck. It possesses excellent speed allowing it to compete with the Transtar and CLT9000 but also possesses a differential lock and can be upgraded with AWD allowing it to easily navigate mud. However it seems to lean more towards being a highway truck because while not poor, its handling in mud is somewhat mediocre compared to other off-road trucks, as it misses raised suspension.
Thanks to its 280L fuel tank and decent fuel economy, the CT680 is an excellent choice for long hauls.
Note that when equipped with the 3.8 self-loading crane and a flatbed, it becomes impossible to attach ANY trailers as the flatbed sticks too far out the back and obstructs the tow hitch.
