Cargoes in SnowRunner primarily feature a cargo measured in slots, greatly expanding variety of available cargo over the previous games, later updates and DLCs also introduced a log cargo and a liquid cargo. Cargoes are supplied by Warehouses, can be found in the wild depending on the mission or with introduction in Explore & Expand expansion - crafted or scavenged. With cargo positioned on designated carriage, player is freely able to pack and secure it and unpack it as they please, most of the missions will require the cargo to be packed to be delivered, however some may require the cargo to be additionally positioned at the delivery zone using an adequate crane. Depending on the warehouse or the mission, the amount of cargo might be limited, using Functions menu player is able to remove the unpacked cargo, loosing it entirely, if the cargo is spawned on the course of the mission however, restarting that mission will respawn the needed amount of cargo, limited warehouses cannot be resupplied. |
Slot CargoThis type of cargo requires Cargo Beds to be used to transportation, they constitute most of cargo transportation in the game, and can be loaded using one of the Cranes or designated Loaders. Each cargo has a length measured in slots, defining whether it can be packed or not on the beds. Cargoes visually placed on blue pallets were designed to be liftable at ease with the use of Handler Fork. Log CargoIntroduced in Season 3 update, this type of cargo requires Log Carriers to be used to transportation and can be loaded using one of the Log Cranes. As an delivery objective, missions accounts for loads, each load is considered of three logs packed on the carriage, however the amount of the cargo provided by the Log Stations or used in crafting is measured per singular log, some limited log stations may provide less or more logs than it is needed to complete a load. |
Liquid CargoIntroduced in Renew & Rebuild expansion, this type of cargo requires Water Tanks to be used to transporatation and doesn't require any additional loading add-ons. Unlike the other types of cargoes, this one is measured in volume capacity, with each carrier and a mission objective specified with needed amount. Water Towers provide the only available cargo of this type - Water - upon interaction, player is free to transfuse the water between other vehicles with a adequate tank and other water towers, as well as draining the whole tank, loosing the cargo entirely.
