The Burlak 6x6 is a licensed all-terrain vehicle in SnowRunner, introduced in the Lights & Cameras DLC.

Ico unlockingUnlocking[]

The Burlak 6x6 is found on the Mountain Ridge map in Scandinavia on the course of Troll tamer task. The mission is available immediately after visiting the Mountain Ridge; the player has to deliver the 6x6 to the Hunter's Cabin to complete the task. The Burlak 6x6 is granted to the player as part of the reward and will become available to buy in the truck store afterwards.

Description[]

The Burlak 6x6 is a licensed scout vehicle in SnowRunner. It is a purpose built off-road 6x6 designed for handling harsh terrain. it is the third licensed Russian vehicle in SnowRunner, after the two Kirovets tractors. The Burlak is the fourth 6x6 scout, after the YAR 87, Chevrolet Apache and Rezvani Hercules 6x6.

The Burlak 6x6 is a fairly capable scouting vehicle. While not fast it is well suited for deep mud. Its large 69" tires provide good traction in mud and its unique 4 cylinder diesel engine is very fuel efficient allowing it to travel long distances. Unique to the Burlak is the option to equip a heavy trailer hitch or a scout trailer hitch. This gives it good adaptability although it can struggle to haul heavier loads. The 3rd unique feature to the Burlak is its unique 69 inch mud tires. These give it superb mobility in mud but the height of the tires can lead to stability issues. Addon selection for the vehicle is very generous. It can install the flatbed, safety cage, slant back trunk kit, and IM50 loading crane. It is the third scout the supports the loading crane, after the International Loadstar 1700 and Ford F 750. However, its IM50 loading crane is a weaker version of the LC 3.8 crane, which is available for other trucks.

The Burlak does have some drawbacks, namely its performance off-road. While its capable of traversing through mud at a steady pace the vehicle will frequently shift gears when terrain switches from mud to dirt or vice versa. This causes the Burlak to feel very sluggish and often will necessitate reliance on its low gears to maintain its pace.

As mentioned before the Burlak has superb fuel economy which combined with its 280L fuel tank can allow to cover great distances before needing to refuel.

Pros[]

  • Its unique tires are good for all terrains
  • Supports flatbed + IM50 crane + trailer combo
  • Roof rack support (180L of fuel and 600 repair points)
  • Is able to tow scout OR heavy trailers
  • Its unique tires work as chain tires

Cons[]

  • Cannot be used for heavy loads
  • Its IM50 loading crane is actually a WEAKER version of the original IM50 for Eurasian trucks with a max 1 ton lifting capacity
  • Tall tires and narrow body makes it prone to flipping
  • Fairly inconsistent performance.

Upgrade locations[]

  • Highrange gearbox - By the Lake Scandinavia, near the lake situated at the southern part of the map, west of the fuel carrier trailer.
