The Azov 67096 "Atom" is a truck in SnowRunner, introduced as a part of The Atom DLC.
Description[]
Azov Atom is based on the KamAZ-65808, a severe duty 8x8 truck made in the Russian Federation. The Atom is almost identical in appearance with the only notable change being the bumpers design. The atom bumper is slightly taller and its fog lights are much smaller.
The Atom can best be described as a larger heavier duty version of the Azov 64131. They both utilize the same engine and gearbox options but the Atom has a much longer wheelbase expanding its add on selection. AWD is switchable unlike other Azovs trucks, however this does not help conserve fuel since heavy truck gearboxes do not have an AWD-on fuel penalty. The increase in frame length does make the vehicle sluggish and hard to turn but it does also increase its weight distribution which can make crossing some patches of deep mud easier. Furthermore the extended frame length can cause stability issues due to the trucks high center of mass, this is only further worsened if tall add-ons are used. The vehicles always on diff lock allows it to travel through mud in high gear as well but it may run into issues maintaining that gear with a heavy load.
Add-on selection is generous for the vehicle. The Azov 67096-3N has the unique 3-slot Atom 'flat body' sideboard bed, and a Atom 'general repair' body with 300 repair, 4 tires and 2500L fuel. It also supports the LK-2NY superheavy crane, LP-4 Log lifter crane, medium and short logging frame, 2-slot and 3-slot flatbed, 2-slot sideboard and IM50 loading crane (rear mounted). The 3-slot flatbed can be combined with a IM50 crane similar to the ZiKZ 612H, though not with the Atom 'flat body' bed. It also supports roof rack repair supplies and both saddle high and low. LP-4 Log lifter crane is a front-facing version of the standard crane, similar to theKenworth 963.
Like the Azov 5319 and Azov 64131, it supports all three Azov AM-8 engines. Additionally, it has the IMZ-8 17,0T engine, which is also available for Voron Grad and Tatra PHOENIX which can be unlocked by finding the upgrade in Cosmodrome, Amur.
Fuel capacity is average for its class at 350L. It does consume a bit more fuel than its similar sister truck the 64-131 due to the increase in weight but it is still capable of traveling long distances with caution.
