The Aramatsu Forester is a forwarder in SnowRunner introduced in the Haul & Hustle DLC.
Aramatsu Forester is a very niche kind of vehicle that is designed with one single purpose in mind - logging operations. Its versatile frame provides better stability and higher performance on logging sites, and can mount a unique crane to simplify the loading process. Another distinctive feature of this truck is an articulated cab that rotates in tandem with the crane making loading the truck easier than ever.
Unlocking[]
Aramatsu Forester is found on The Lowland map in Maine on the course of Abandoned Titan task. The mission is available immediately after visiting The Lowland, player has to repair and refuel the Forester to complete the task. Aramatsu Forester is granted to the player as a part of the reward and player is able to purchase more of this vehicle in the truck store afterwards.
Description[]
The Aramatsu Forester is a logging specialist, being useless outside of this niche but performing rather well within. It features always on AWD and switchable diff lock by default which gives this truck good off-road capabilities. It also has large mudtires like the other super heavy trucks, and while its tires aren't as big as the CAT 745C they are still very capable. Much like the CAT it has a wide footprint, articulated steering and a flexible body which gives this truck excellent stability even when loaded. The suspension of the Forester has a large travel, allowing it to get grip on even the roughest terrain. It has the option of carrying either short or medium logs (requires add-on). Its unique crane and the ability to attach a trailer making it the ultimate truck for hauling two loads of medium logs. Fuel consumption is above average. In addition, it is available from the store for just 38,000, being already very capable without upgrades.
Its primary weakness is the lack of a snorkel option which limits its ability to cross deep rivers. The engine of the Forester is also relatively weak and its top speed is one of the lowest in the game.
Overall the Aramatsu Forester is a great truck that can excel in its designed task of hauling logs, just keep it fueled up and out of the water and it can get you anywhere.
Pros[]
- One of the few American trucks with Mudtires.
- One of the few trucks with frame space for both a log loader crane and log carriers, making it irreplaceable for what it does at times.

- Can cross decently deep water even without snorkel.
Cons[]
- Can only be used for logging.
- Can still be prone to damage when crossing water.
- Very wide turning circle.
- Slow.
- Gets stuck on small ridges due to long wheel base and relatively low chassis.
- Using the crane for picking up fallen logs can be difficult without precise positioning.
