This articles covers a CIVILIAN variant added in Season 6; for MILITARY variant of the same truck in base game see: ANK MK38
The ANK MK38 CIVILIAN is a truck in SnowRunner introduced in the Season 6 update and in the base game of Expeditions.
A modification of ANK MK38, lacking its original proprietary sideboard in favor of more generic mounts fit for installing commonly used civilian frame addons, as well as fuel tanks and repair modules. Unlike its military version, this model offers enough performance but more torque offering flexibility in carrying heavier supplies.

Review[]
What is it?[]
It is the civilian edition of the fuel-slurping, harrumphing ANK MK38 military truck, albeit given minor adjustments to fit civilian usage.
Quick Verdict[]
Defeats most obstacles easily, but slurps fuel and looks harsh and ugly. It also is unable to carry cargo without a trailer, though the good news is that it hauls those easily.
Driving[]
The ANK MK38 Civilian is easily powerful enough to pull the entire garage building along behind it. You notice this; a roar and clanking of machinery greets you on start up, and it will launch forwards with little care in the world for things in your way. Steering is precise and relatively easy, but environmentalists will be concerned by the vast clouds of black smoke that issue.
However, this easy usage is hindered by the fact that its 200 litre fuel tank is quickly used up with heavy usage, taking 25 to 20 minutes. Compared to the Voron models, which are arguably less powerful and heavy duty yet similarly useful and arguably the ANK's greatest rivals, the fuel consumption is unbearable.
Offroad[]
If you get the ANK into mud, then it will drive out. Unless you run out of fuel. If you get the ANK into reasonable depth water, it will pull out. Seriously deep water will likely make it drive unbearably slow, but it will likely make it out.
Exterior[]
Um. It looks like something little children would shriek at when viewed. The ANK MK 38 Civilian is a variation of the ANK MK38, released as a part of Season 6 update. In terms of performance, the two are identical, dominating the wilds with their speed while keeping the fuel consumption issue and instability.
Salt of the Earth Vinyl Wrap Pack[]

Trivia[]
- Its Expeditions license plate reads "5TNDEUCE", which means "5-ton Deuce". Its real-life counterpart, the AM General M939 is a 5-ton 6x6 military truck, and MK38's license plate in Expeditions named after its deuce.
- In SnowRunner, ANK MK38 CIVILIAN doesn't appear with installable bed configuration, the truck already has its built-in sideboard bed variant - the ANK MK38, but in Expeditions, the truck appears with an option to install the flatbed and sideboard bed.
- Its 3rd, top engine, the A16V-M900, is named as the HK12-TE/M, similarly to the third, top engine of KRS 58 "Bandit", but it doesn't look similarly to Bandit's top engine.
- The name of its top engine in Expeditions, the A16V-M900, may be a reference to its top engine in SnowRunner, the Westline V12 M900 due to having M900 in the name.
