The AAC-58DW is found on the Zherbai Quarries map in Almaty Region on the course of A Great Deal task. The AAC-58DW is granted to the player as part of the reward and will become available to buy in the truck store afterwards.
Description[]
AAC-58DW is based off the UMM Alter II and Apal 21541 Stalker, a Portuguese car built in 1986 and a Russian SUV built in 2003 respectively. The AAC-58DW uses the Alter II as inspiration for its front end and the Stalker for the rear and side portions of the vehicle. The AAC-58DW headlights are slightly smaller and appear to be pushed further back into the bumper while its turn signals are located closer to the fenders and are much smaller. The inlet for the air intake on the hood is also much larger and the windshield has a more angled appearance in the bottom corners. The sides of the vehicle namely its doors are almost identical to the Stalker with the only major change being the proportions of the side windows, notably the triangular windows are much larger on the AAC-58DW when compared to the stalker.
The AAC-58DW is an extremely capable scout, It possesses very powerful engines with a gearbox to back it up. It is the 3rd scout to utilize the "Special" gearbox that normally is only available on Heavy class trucks. This provides it with a single low gear and high gear along with 5 standard gears giving it a good balance of speed on paved roads and torque off-road. However it can also still equip the normal scout gearboxes as well allowing it to fill a number of different roles. Its engines provide it with sufficient power for pulling travels and traversing through mud making it a well suited scout or cargo hauler.
Normally uncharacteristic for a SnowRunner vehicles, the AAC-58DW uses a front wheel drive setup with AWD is disengaged, this allows to travel through dirt and small mud pits without issue conserving fuel thanks to its always on differential lock. Furthermore its unique tires provide superb traction in dirt and mud further increasing its performance.
The vehicles powerful engines are not without flaw however, Due to the vehicles light weight and high power to weight ratio the vehicle can be rather hard to control when accelerating on asphalt or dirt. This can lead the the unit speeding up erratically and becoming hard to control. This can lead to disaster if a driver is not able to correct its steering in time. Furthermore the high power engines can lead to fast fuel consumption making the vehicle rely on frequent fuel refills. This is most apparent in regions with lots of mud and snow like Kola Peninsula or Taymyr where AWD will be utilized far more than usual.
The AAC-58DW is equipped with a below average fuel tank size of 60L. Combined with its somewhat poor fuel consumption this does limit its operating range but this can be rectified with its roof rack which provides 120L of spare fuel.

- Freeway gearbox - Smithville Dam Michigan, at the hill situated on the road to the Drummond Island.
- Fine-tune gearbox - Grainwoods River Wisconsin, southeast of the "Classified" task.

- AAC-58DW is one of few vehicles which has a front wheel drive setup when AWD is disengaged, sharing this trait with Caterpillar 745C and Chevrolet Apache.
- Although AAC-58DW is based on the Portuguese UMM Alter II, its back is based on the APAL-21541 Stalker's back.
