Hello. I'm a wiki specialist with Fandom looking to help add missing content for Roadcraft. The devs have provided access for us to a full build of the game, and I'm currently working on gathering information to add to the wiki. I just wanted to give a quick heads-up that I'll be contributing soon, maybe as early as tomorrow, but more likely starting the middle of next week. I look forward to working with you to help fill out content for this upcoming title.
What's on your mind?

How come it's always been in Heavy Duty? I've never really thought about that before until now.
Anyone want to grind out the original Spintires? Add me on steam https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198147560281/
the m916a1 is never really used (just like 95% of other trucks lol), but its case is far more serious in that the winch setup behind the cab not only takes up an immense amount of space but also gets in the way of trailers when backing up.
I thought of this as a joke at first, but after a bit more thought, i've come to the belief that it might actually work. so basically...
what if the winch setup was a winch modification?
Stats:
price: $10000
+60% winch range
+40% winch power
applies [autonomous] status
So basically, heavy advanced winch from expeditions
in exchange for this insane performance, the physical unit appears, taking up a good chunk of the frame as it always has... but if you use any other winch, its gone, so all that space can be used!
this allows for compatibility with shorter frame addons like:
Small flatbed (from ford 750, intended for use with crane)
Fuel tank
Water tank
Front log carrier for long logs (is this already available for m916? haven't used it in a while)
LP-4 log crane
Metal detector (think it already has this but whatever)
Van body addon
Seismic vibrator
Which setup conflicts with all attachments above except small flatbed, and even then, it can't be used with crane at that point bc there not enough space
ok i think im done
What if snowrunners became its own little spinoff series of a more civilized approach to the original spintires game and expeditions and any exploration based ones are branded as mudrunners and each can go their own way
It would be cool since you can choose between a more civilized or more exploration-like experience
Not all people want to leave trailers and addons on behind to go off and deal with the horrible rock physics they haven't figured them out fully yet lol
I got the Kahn lo4f task in arizona stuck in a rock softlocking it for the session
Hello , how can i download SnowRunner from Spintires wiki , please help me ,Thanks very much.
I used the discussion to discuss the ideas about what Season 13 will include using the Manual of Style special page, where there is wrote that the discussion page is needed to discuss ideas or etc. And, I saw some suggestions for future SnowRunner content here and posted this suggestion here because why not.
Faun SLT-50 Elefant: this vehicle should be in the heavy class. The truck should have always on AWD and switchable diff. lock. Can be used for towing heavy semi-trailers. (do not wonder why I found the image with this vehicle with a semi-trailer attached and telehandler loaded on it, we already have the CAT 357 telehandler LOL)
If the heavy 8x8 truck isn't the variant or someone is tired from 8x8 heavy truck, here is an offroad Faun which is also good for the game - it is the Faun L912/45A. The truck will have always on AWD and diff. lock. And, I wish that the truck will have the unique 2-slot sideboard bed like in real life.
I really want the new 10-wheeled truck. There are only three 10-wheeled trucks in game. To expand the family of the 10-wheeled trucks, the Faun HS 50 may be the great vehicle for expansion. The truck must have the engageable diff. lock and engageable AWD. In real life it also has the dead axle, if the truck will be featured in the game, it will be the sixth vehicle with a liftable dead axle.
That's all Faun trucks that I want to see in Season 13. These vehicles must be available to buy only in Eurasian (Russian and Central Asian) regions.
It feels like a DLC to me
Like, sure, they are adding a LOT of new stuff, but it doesn't feel like there's enough content to make it it's own fully blown game.
Just feels like a big DLC map.
Hope I'm proven wrong...
I also hope that they don't stop updating SnowRunner. I quite enjoy the game play of SnowRunner and I don't want to lose that.
Btw i play on xbox one s i use train max scouts and trucks and a bunch of ui mods and every now and then i get a good mod i also like the highway haulin map all four together
"Guys, It's just one mod, I'm not ruining my experience"
All you need is an rc car mod to do it and a working winch
@Allosaurus 67 I figure you may know about this topic, you've been here a while right?
So, you guys know how vehicles have different winch types, right? This specific thread is targeted at the Autonomous winch. This is the description:
A low-strength winch setup with a dedicated battery unit. Not as powerful as more common variants, but can operate even when the vehicle’s engine is turned off or stalled.
So, my question is this: It states that it is lower strength with a dedicated battery unit. Does this mean it is always lower strength, or does it have normal strength when the engine is on?
Hello all. I made a post about this 3 years ago but there are some updates that are needed to the end since things have changed.
1: The Beginning Times
The beginning times were the very beginning of our Wiki and the person who started all of it was a person named TheRealMU5T4N6. In time of the creation of the wiki on the 10th of February, 2016 to two and half years later in October of 2018 marked the time period of this era, 2 pages and 6 edits were made. The two pages were the main page and the Spintires vehicle page. The main page has been heavily altered due to the other two games in the franchise releasing and all the DLC work done. The vehicle page created has sadly been deleted as with the third game coming out along with 2 DLCs for the first game, we needed to separate our pages so we had room and helped mobile users. There would be 25 more edits made by a user named Reaper11186 at the end of this era around July that kicked off the next era.
2: The Resurgence
In October of 2018, three users named Creamygravy44, Harrison35, and Pinkachu who might I add was a Fandom staff member, made around 120 edits combined but all three dropped off around December, just 2 months after they arrived. This time saw most of our vehicle pages created for MudRunner and SpinTires as well as MudRunner's page be created. February of 2019 marked the end of The Resurgence.
3: The Golden age
The Golden Age marked when the most users had come on to edit with about 6 users logged to edit. This would be very short though as most of those users would leave at the middle of the age and this age leads to a very dark one. A lot of old pages were made doing this time however.
4: The Great Decay
Starting in October of 2018, (Which is when Nextej joined and I joined a month later) the wiki was down to 2 members from The Golden Age but the wiki gained some new members and added a good bit of info. This isn't too much else to say about this one other than it ended in February of 2020.
5: The Second Coming
This age marks when I had gained leadership rights over the wiki and Nextej had also gained rights. This age would bring about most of our modern information and mark when a new leadership was present since there hadn't been proper leadership since The Resurgence. This age would end on April 12th 2020.
6: The Triumvirate
Another admin called BarneyKB would be added to the leadership and form the triumvirate which was the first of its kind as the members of the resurgence fell under rule of Pinkachu more than having a three ruler wiki. Quite a few modern pages were made during this time.
7: Age of Progress
In November of 2020, Churnovisk and The Cherrybomber were officially made staff by myself and this kicks off the age of progress. This era has seen most of our pages reworked and a lot of new ones made. I extend my thanks to Churnovisk and The Cherrybomber as they singlehandedly brought this wiki into an age of great information. This is the age we currently reside in a probably will for a long time unless something drastic changes.
8: Age of Singularity
I'll say this started around Fall of 2022. By then, Barney hadn't really done much for a year by this point, and Cherry and Churno hadn't edited for a few months now. I made a few edits around this time to clean up older MudRunner and SpinTires pages since they really got no love during that time but since then, I have done nothing. During this time, only Nextej kept on editing. This brings us into today. By now, only really Nextej keeps the place going. He has 3000 edits under his belt which is 1/4 of the total edits made in this place and he just keeps on going without stopping. With all of my inactivity, I've decided to give up my rights as a moderator and admin. Call this my "retirement" if you will. With this, I think it is fair to say that Nextej is head admin of this place.
This part is separate from the timeline stuff so don't include this into that. I just want to say farewell to you all. It's been a great 5 years with this place. I remember when I joined. First thing I did was work on some American Wilds DLC vehicles and created pages for the Kenworth as well as the C260. I also remember when I wrote the page for the Western Star and pissed off most of the community because of how biased it was. I then remember applying for and getting admin rights to this place and then giving Nextej full rights. I'm happy to see what this place has become. I remember when I first got rights, the analytics showed that we got less then 1000 people a day viewing the wiki. 1000 views was a really good day. Now we get over 4000 as a standard. Sometimes we are breaking over 7000. I loved this place and while I kind of do now, I don't have the time anymore like I did back then. Nextej, if you read this, I personally thank you for all your dedication to keeping this place alive. I think you are a more than worthy admin to keep running this place, espcially since that is what you've been doing for the past year and a half. Take care all. I won't delete this account just so this discussion stays up but I am taking away all my rights. I'll do what our first admin did not do and make sure someone takes care of this wiki.
Hopefully this post shines light on this wiki's past and may the future shine brighter.
